These rusty old industrial metal panels were used in an out-dated coal-fired power plant.  They were the heating elements in a defunct massive utility boiler that was decommissioned, demolished and salvaged.  Their industrial look and unique texture comes from years of water and steam-washing over them giving them a perfect patina with unusual characteristics from deposits of minerals in the water.  Unlike similar tin materials, these panels are straight and flat with no nail holes and are still rigid, heavy duty, (weldable) structurally sound and easily shipped as well as very plentiful.
